The Paratus Pocket Translator is the obvious solution when there is no human translator at hand. The system is used by personnel in emergency wards and ambulances, rescue services, the police, or other emergency services, where there is a need for quick and accurate translation.
The system is built on a patented method of language identification, translation and playback. The language in question is chosen by the help of flags. Questions and requests are phrased to give an accurate semantic meaning.
The P.P.T. plays back the translated phrases in a clear studio recorded voice for the highest possible audio quality.
Performit has developed the P.P.T. with the help of medical experts of the County Council of Värmland, Sweden, who have also taken part in formulating the phrases recorded in the P.P.T.
The P.P.T. is based on the market leading platform Pocket PC from Microsoft and can be integrated into other products from PerformIT. The platform can also function in other computer systems when connected to the Internet.
