Paratus Pocket TIB is a system which provides the Deputy Chief with mobile support during the exercise of his duties on emergency occasions.
When the alarm centre sends an alarm to the TIB, using text message (SMS), the TIB opens up a communication line to the Chief Medical Officer for counselling or alarm. This way, the same information is sent to both the TIB and to the Chief Regional Ward Guidance before they begin to communicate.
The use of hand-held units and SMS this way, enables quick and easy communication. It is also well structured, since all activities are time-tabled to be used for registration and follow-up.
