Paratus Commander

Paratus Commander software is designed for emergency services and operates on the computers based at the command centre. The system provides the operational support that manages all resources and sends alerts/alarms and text messages between vehicles and Paratus Commander.

A very large and clear focus is on map functions. A clear and effective map gives a very quick and safe view of where resources are located - and clarifies the emergency situation as it stands at any given time.

The map can display all the vehicles, stations, people and of course incidences. You can very quickly get an overview of where various resources are but you can also  selectively display certain categories through smart filtering.

A tool makes things clear and easy to use  

A clear goal for us in the development of Paratus Commander has been to make it easy to understand and use, especially  people who alternate between internal and external command - who might go a month without using it .

Example of features are:

• Diary - where you can document any event, both those closely connected to a case and those more casually related.
• Resource Index - a resource can consist of several sub-components, for example a firetruck that has a certain number of litres of extinguishing agents, some communication equipment, and staff including details of their skill sets. 
• Assignments can be received by the software from a dispatch centre, or from automatic alarm equipment. You can of course also create your own assignments.
• Communication - you can use the effective Paratus Gateway to send and receive messages from the vehicle. The communication may be by TETRA, Mobitex, SMS, or IP traffic via GPRS/3G, W-LAN or other available media.
